Our Mission
My building approvals aims to provide an affordable and efficient service with approx 98% of applications lodged approved.
We work on your behalf to produce the outcome required where possible, negotiating with Council where necessary and providing options to allow you to make decisions on the preferred design and process required, either via Development Application (DA) or Complying Development (CDC) etc
What We Do
We undertake a free no obligation discussion and assessment with you over the phone to understand your project and see if there are any items that might stand out before proceeding.
At mybuilding approvals we take the process step by step to try and identify any issues along the way in regards to having the project approved, so that you don’t spend money unnecessarily before making any decisions to not proceed any further or make any changes.
Who We Are
The principal owner of the business has over 40 years’ experience dealing with Council and having worked within Council for many years as a Building Inspector (Surveyor).
We offer an affordable service to assist you with getting the approval for construction where possible. Unfortunately, not every job can be approved for various reasons in the preferred format, however we try to overcome any obstacles to finalising the approval where possible.

mybuilding approvals offers a wide range of services to meet the individual needs of our clients Development Application submissions.
We work with you to understand your requirements and to achieve the result you want within the parameters of building approval regulations and requirements.
We can assist you if you have done any work without approval and want to have it approved and/correctified through the Council.
We have consultants in various areas including, Engineering, Hydraulics, Geotech, Bush fire etc to obtain any necessary reports that may be required by either Council or a Private Certifier
